Well today, Microsoft Game Studios announced an official launch date of November 12, 2006 at a retail price of $59.99 USD (A $69.95 “Special Edition” is also anticipated - no surprise there). With the PS3 arriving just 5 days later, it’s not exactly the Halo 3 launch that Bill Gates promised way back when, but all indications are that GOW could be the first truly “killer app” for the 360.
