Oppo LT-2007 DVD/TV ComboOur friends over at Oppo Digital, makers of the universally loved OPDV971H DVD Player, have just released this odd little DVD/LCD TV combo, the LT-2007. Combining a 20″ LCD screen (4:3 ratio) and a DVD player into a single white housing, the set displays a striking resemblance to some of the early Cinema Displays from Apple. Sporting an “enhanced” resolution of 800×600, it’s certainly not going to compete with any HD sets, but for basic DVD viewing in a limited space, such as a dorm room or a kitchen, it might be okay.

In addition to the requisite component, composite and S-Video inputs, the set features a tiltable stand, a built-in 181 channel NTSC tuner, 3 watt stereo speakers and a VGA input so you can use it with a computer as well (although I cannot imagine the giant pixels at 800×600 on a 20″ monitor). The DVD player does support a wide variety of formats (as OPPO is known for), including DVD-Video, DivX
