And I take that back. After playing for another couple of hours, I've decided that the game is a) pretty much a complete GTA knock-off with prettier graphics and b) the NPCs are just as stupid -- I can beat them sensless with a baseball bat and they just stand there and take it. I also love that I can have 3 cops firing their guns at me and I can take them all down with a billy club or a stick before they can kill me.
