First party 360 games are $49.99 also. What’s the big deal?

Actually, while most of the current games published by Microsoft Games Studio are $49.99, upcoming games such as Crackdown, Blue Dragon, Forza 2 and presumably, Halo 3 and Gears of War are all expected to be $59.99.

Absolutely. The big deal is that the 360 games are more expensive. Nintendo always goes with low profit-margins. They can do that because they sell more of their own games then Microsoft and Sony do, and less of other companies’ games.
Have you guys seen the Nintendo amusement park? This is pretty funny:

The ps3 is going to be the best console out when it gets released, but if the price has you a little worried hears a way to get it for free. I’m just waiting for Nov 17 to get mine.
