nokia intros new sport music phone

Nokia 5500 Sport XpressMusic PhoneThe new Nokia 5500 Sport XpressMusic is a GSM/GPRS mobile phone is designed for the active user in mind.

The phone comes with a 512MB microSD card for storing up to 375 tunes, as well as a sports belt, armband, bicycle mount and sports headset with a special remote which lets you quicky switch tracks through a series of taps.

The 5500 has three modes of operation, phone, music and sport. When in the sport mode, you can activate the phone’s built-in pedometer which can track your distance and calories burned during a walk or run. The 5500 even features text-to-speech capabilites, so you can listen to your SMS messages with two taps of the phone. It’s even designed to withstand shocks dust and water splashes. A 2 megapixel camera with video recording capabilites is also included.
