Play Nintendo NES Games Online for Free

Can’t wait to get your new Nintendo Wii so you can download and play classic NES games? Over at vNES, you can get a head start by playing 395 games from the old Nintendo online, right now.
Although it’s a little annoying that the site requires Java (v.1.5 or later) to play, it’s done an admirable job of emulating these classics. I’m not sure how long it will be before Nintendo slaps these guys with a cease-and-desist order, but you might as well get in there and play before they get shut down for copyright infringement by the Big N.

Nintendo8.com also has some NES games. They even have an Adsense account. It’s to bad this nor VNES has the NES version of Super Mario All-Stars(Japanese Super Mario Brothers 2).

I don’t have NEScafe on this site, so I’m not sure. Was it on one of the sites mentioned by one of the other commenters?
