container ship power supply

Artists Jess Giffin and Jim TerMeer have created this ingenious design which integrates those ugly power supplies into a work of art.

Containership Powersupply
Designed to accommodate the many power adapters cluttering our living space, this ship powers our electronic devices with their cords in its wake. It also makes apparent the infrastructure behind all those power cords.

Made from cast rubber over a metal chassis, the Containership Powersupply is the perfect blend of form and functionality. While the artists are making a statement with the design, I hope their capitalist instincts kick in and they decide to produce these for sale.
