I've had a PS3 since November 06 now, and other than the initial setup time to pre-load content to the hard drive, it's as speedy as any other console I've played. 'oh no.' dvd obviously reads a ton faster than blu-ray in this early stage but it cant hold nearly as much and that's why the 50gb capacity doesn't need to speed up your load times by 8 seconds while you play for 5 hours. it has room to improve graphics and add more content. and for the wii lover, the graphics looks like a ps2 and it struggles to load any big game like super smash brothers: brawl.
