If you’re looking for a creative way to get rid of those military secrets your copied to CD-R, or just want to destroy your ex-girlfriend’s Justin Timberlake disc, you might want to check out Elecom’s SCR-CD001 portable CD/DVD killer.

Elecom SCR-CD0001 CD Destroyer

The portable device etches a nasty series of spiral patterns into any CD or DVD, rendering the data unreadable. Simply plug the device into your USB drive, and you’ll be giving new meaning to “ripping a CD” in minutes. No release date or pricing has been announced yet.

That looks like an dumb invention. Why not cut the disc with a ordinary scissor two times and you got four parts who never ever cant be read again.Cheap and effective!. :)

  2. ManChicken says:

Putting it in the microwave is good, too. And it’s more fun.
