Here’s another in a long line of wacky USB devices: the gold bar USB hub from Thanko Japan.
The USB 1.1/2.0 gold bar hub features 8 powered USB ports in a mock-gold style befitting storage in Fort Knox. Thanko has even gone the extra mile to weigh down the block to over 5 pounds, so I wouldn’t call this thing portable. Priced at 5,980 Japanese Yen, the USB gold hub is expected to ship in December.
Now if I could only understand what the guy dressed as Jack Sparrow is trying to say as he chows down on on of these…
