the world’s most dangerous cd player

This minimal CD player design looks really beautiful on the surface, with a case made from solid walnut and matching speakers to go with it. The design actually exposes half of the CD during playback, which seems highly impractical and downright dangerous.

While it certainly looks cool to have the CD stick out of the player, I wouldn’t want to accidentally bump into a disc rotating at 500+ revolutions per minute. The photo doesn’t show it, but I’m pretty sure the CD player wouldn’t look so slick once it’s splattered with blood from your amputated fingers.

I don’t know, I still think that might be a neat idea. Though I’d be more concerned with the player getting dirty than anything else. Hell, I might buy one if I still listend to CDs as CDs. These days I just play them through the computer.
