robot thrill ride seems like a bad idea

Some sick individual strapped their buddy to a seat at the end of a FANUC industrial robot’s arm and then ran him through the spin cycle.
They captured all of the fun and festivities in this video clip:

This thing reminds me of the mechanical bull in a more spaced version!.
That is by far the most entertaining use of a FANUC robotic are i have ever seen! I was a bit nervous at some points watching this; from the camera angle it looks as if the Guy’s head is VERY close to the floor. I’ll wager I wasn’t as nervous as the man being swung about though.
Very creative, I think this would turn some heads. The next time we have clients on the shop floor i’m gonna suggest we strap one of the junoirs to a char and lob him around while they have their tour.
