worst computer ever

Check out this rare DELTA-C vintage Soviet computer (if you can call 1991 “vintage”) that I found over on eBay. It’s apparently a clone of the classic Sinclair ZX personal computer, but it sure looks like something you’d find down in a Dharma station on LOST.

I especially like the keycaps that have paper labels with a mix of cryptic English and Cyrillic characters on them. It comes complete with some original software tapes, a terrible looking joystick and worst power brick I’ve seen since the one that comes with the Xbox 360.
The auction currently has a bid of just $1.25 (but the reserve hasn’t yet been met,) so get your bids in now!

When I was a kid I had a Speccy with the rubber keyboard thingy. I’d have killed for that keyboard back in ‘85
Ah the good old days…
Well, I had one of Delta-C computers. Yes, it looks…. strange
, but have a look again! Today it looks as a technical art masterpiece! I could bet that one or two years later we will see iPod or something with the same design , good old times gonna be back
“worst computer ever” is not really fair. Think about the poor developers who had to reverse engineer everything from the Z80 cpu to the roms and ps. probably based on a single deconstructed machine…wait a minute, this thing was made in 1991? didn’t the berlin wall fall in like 1986? So 5 years after openings to the west they were up to 1981 technology? hmm there must of been large tariffs on imports back then, otherwise it would have been much easier to source this stuff from Taiwan.
