stagevu.com is free, but if you download it on your PS3, it depends on the speed: it’ll take a half hour to download a movie if you have good internet service.
However, if you have the type of internet that’s not the best, then it’ll take at least an hour or two.
If your XBox won’t work for movies, then get on your computer and try to find the movie you want to see, and download it to your PC/LAPTOP’S Hardrive.

I don’t mean to change the subject in any way, but I have a PlayStation 3. I got on this site cuz I was looking @ XBox’s because i sort of want one. I MIGHT have one soon, but idk.
Anyway, I saw that you guys were talking about playing movies on ur XBox’s. idk about that kind of stuff…
It’s really simple on PlayStation 3. All you need to do is have internet hooked up to it. Once you do that, go onto the internet and type in Stagevu.com. Stagevu is a free movie site for anybody.

If you cannot play movies from USB then you need to connect to xbox live(Silver it’s free) and the codecs Div-X etc will download and your USB will play just fine, you can use any size USB drive as long as you format it the right i.e use partion magic on PC or format it on a mac “Google it” if you are not sure

All Xbox 360s can get the RROD, but it’s mostly 360s built before the Xbox 360 Elite was released that frequently have the problem. I’m not sure if the Halo edition was released before or after the 360 Elite. AFAIK, Microsoft started making cooling improvements to all 360s produced after the 360 Elite came out. Models made in 2008 and on run on the Jasper board with a cooler running 65nm GPU and CPU. So your best bet is to buy a brand new 360 model and look for a JASPER board, and your chances of overheating and the RROD will be much lower. I believe that the 360 overpowers the ps3 and im not even talking about the elite, just the 360, because of its online play, because when you play with online with the ps3 it is much to complicated and unfun and that is just the one piece

hey and if you’re a gamer and would like an xbox 360 elite. all you need is 9 friends and do one of the offers that there are I did the stamps one and cancelled it after the required 21 days for it to count. there was no charge. and once your 9 friends do the same you’ll get the xbox in the mail. this is no joke i rock out with guitar hero everyday and halo 3. click on this link

say u get a new xbox360 and your getting rid of your old one if you transfer your profile to your new xbox it doesnt bring the saves with it how do you get the saves to transfer to the other xbox

Well from the looks of it the ELITE has changed more then the fan. The motherboard looks different,looks like they moved a few things around to solve the heat problem. I have yet to buy the 360 or the P3, I have many friends who have already replaced there 360 or had to send them in for repair. Some had to be sent in more then once. I play PC games on a high end system. One of many i built myself and cooling these machines is the key with out using large amounts of power. A few of my friends also added the extra cooling fan pack that also caused there machine to glitch because of the power consumption the fans draw. So i took one of my friends 360 and beefed it upmyself by placing low power fans and heatsinks over the main chipset just like on a vid card or a pc. Guess what happend. No glitchs and the temps dropped and the 360 is as cool as a bare naked lady on a 70 degree day. microsoft knows how to make money people they lead the industry but they havent got my money yet cos i know better and microsoft has always been know to get the product out fast and make there money. While we get stuck with the bugs and patching and repairing at our expence…… All in all microsoft has done is extend there 90 day warrenty to a 12 month warrenty. the 360 is a mini pc with poor cooling and ventalation,that leads to one thing bad news for the 360 owner.

well as completly neutral gamer i have to say that the ps3 was all talk i got one the day it came out and so far am yet to be impressed sony really let themselves down with no massive game franchises on the horizon yet!, yeah maybe GTA 4 but microsoft now have exclusive rights to the next 3 GTA games to be released in the futute, also devil may cry is no longer exclusive to the ps3 as microsoft have rights, also when Halo 3 comes along and Halo wars! its pretty obvious the sales will boost dramatically there is also talk of Gears of wars 2 for 2008, as for the elite i do own a premium system and yes i shall be getting one, people say why fork out the money? its an extra £50 for a hard drive thats twice the size of sony’s PS3 and the HDMI output to take it to the next level!!

Also ive heard talk of alot of people saying that the elite will have problems as the core system did, this problem was caused by overheating of the processor and hard disk, microsoft has solved this problem by adding a better and more reliable fan. Dont get me wrong the ps3 is an “ok” machine but i think its safe to say microsoft and nintendo her serpassed sony in this war the the next gens
