Saitek recently released their latest mouse, offering a clean modern design and a unique scrolling sensor that uses touch instead of a traditional wheel input.

The Obsidian mouse features a high-precision 1000DPI optical sensor, and operates wirelessly over RF. The mouse comes with a USB-based dock for storage and charging. The Obsidian retails for $50 and works with Windows and Mac OS machines.

Is the mouse really Obsidian ? (Obsidian: 1. Acid or granitic glass formed by the rapid cooling of lava without crystallization; usually dark, but transparent in thin pieces) oh my … if this is really a glass mouse i will get it a.s.a.p.

Nah. I’m pretty sure it’s made out of plastic, and just shines like Obsidian. Otherwise, I think it would cost quite a bit more.
