Shiro Mp3 Player Inspired by Soccer Ball

by Paul Strauss

Here’s an MP3 player that doesn’t look like any other I’ve seen. Designed originally for the World Cup tournament, the Shiro AS MP3 Player looks a whole lot like a miniature soccer ball.

Shiro AS Sphere MP3 Player

Sure, the Shiro won’t win any prizes for storage capacity, maxing out at 1GB of memory, but it certainly gets my endorsement for its cool design. The player measures in at just under 2-inches in diameter and a slick OLED display. It supports WMA, WAV, MP3 formats and also has an FM tuner and voice recorder built in.

It is a pretty cool soccer ball,

  4. Things like this MP3 player sell like crazy during the WC or EC frenzies. If the manufacturer manages to come up with a new idea, he could make a lot of money during the upcoming WC in Africa.
