It is basically only a timer, and I can get them at the dollar store!! It doesnt cook your noodles because thats what the hot water does. The Noodle timer however is more useless that a normal timer because I would rather have a dollar timer that beeps. Then, I wouldnt have to keep on looking over at the 'light' to see if its done, I could just hear it and know that times up!!! Dude, this Noodle timer is useless.
