philips aj300d: a compact ipod clock radio

I’ve was searching for for a compact clock radio that could dock my iPod, when I came across this new model from Philips.
The just-released Philips AJ300D looks like it will fit the bill nicely. It’s got a clean, stylish design with a built-in iPod charge and play dock (it also works with Philips GoGear players).
For a clock radio, it’s capable of cranking out the volume, with a 6-watt per channel amplifier and Philips “wOOx” loudspeaker technology for enhanced low-frequency performance. It even comes with a nice remote control that lets you adjust volume and change radio stations. Street price for the AJ300D is about $80.

Does anyone know if this unit is compatible with the new iPod Nano (3rd gen)?
This thing gets really loud when the alarm goes off. It’s horrid!!! I can’t change the volume level of the ipod alarm. Can anyone help?
I can’t figure that out either. Did you ever get it fixed. We just bought it and I hate that feature. There must be some way to set the volume for when the alarm goes off! ugh. Help.

Well Amy it does because i’ve got the iPod nano 3rd Generation and the AJ300D and it works quite fine
I love this ipod clock radio! However, I cannot figure out how to change the time on the clock.. Can anyone help?
I need to see the time at night without having to press any buttons. Does the blue back light stay on all the time?
I have an old 3rd ipod classic and the dock won’t recharge it, nor am i able to skip track. Does anyone know if it will recharge 3rd gen. ipod classic or is the unit defective.
