Beer Pouring Robot Now Available Worldwide
June 6th, 2007
The Asahi Robocco BeerBot automatically opens cans of your favorite brew then pours you a perfect tall mug of the frosty stuff.

The robot stores up to six cans of beer in its refrigerated belly, then dispenses them into a glass mug when you’re ready for a drink.
Originally available as part of a contest the beer-maker ran in Japan, CScout Japan is now selling “gently used” ‘bots all around the globe for just $799 (plus $99 for insured shipping). Each Robocco includes everything you need to get started, including instructions in English and Japanese.
While it might be cutting it a little close for Fathers’ Day, I’m sure Dad would forgive you if you got him one of these a couple of days late.

Dear Sir,
We are Flag Publishing , and we publish textbooks for senior and junior high school students in Taiwan.
We’d like using the product picture whose name is Asahi Robocco BeerBot in our computer textbooks for introducing Artificial Intelligence.
Would you please tell me that can we use the picture in our computer textbooks ?
And how can I get the Agreement?
If we got your permission , would you please provide the image with higher resolution(300 dpi)?
Thank you.

you know, if the thing wasn’t so loud and so slow, it would almost be worth the money as a really cool novelty.
2 minutes to pour a beer!!!??? And you charge $800 dollars? Every time it takes me 10 seconds to pour a beer in my frozen mug for free I’ll think of this video and how much money I just saved. I’ll also take pleasure in realizing that I’m not lazy enough to need a robot to pour me a beverage.
