dlo tunestik fm transmitter adds remote control

iPod accessory maker DLO has introduced a new FM transmitter which includes the ability to remotely control your iPod while wirelessly feeding music to your radio.
The new DLO TuneStik comes with a special safety holder to attach the remote to your steering wheel, which makes it ideal for in-car use. Simply snap the compact FM transmitter onto the bottom of your iPod, attach the remote to your steering wheel, and you’ll be able to control your tunes without having to take your eyes off the road.
Since the remote control is RF-based, you don’t have to aim it at the iPod, making it useful for those times you want to listen to your tunes on your a home stereo without any wires.
The TuneStik retails for $59.99 and works with most iPods made in the last couple of years.

If I were you, I’d re-think purchasing the DLO Tunestick w/ Remote. First the performance is subpar. More static and interference than actual music. Secondly and more importantly, since you can only control the frequency by use of the remote device, your S.O.L. if you lose it. I contacted DLO and asked if it could be purchased separately and I was told in broken english that it wasn’t available. So now I’ve paid $60 for a uselss piece of technology junk. In summary, don’t buy this device. Look for other FM transmitter alternatives.
Just spoke to DLO. My remote broke and I am out of warranty. They told me that I should look for a replacement on E-bay. What kind of service is that? Do not buy any products from DLO. They suck.
