		<description>The current kings of video processing on the flat panel market are Fujitsu's famed AVIAMO III in their plasmas and Pioneer's newest 8G panels... it'll be interesting to see if JVC's Genessa chip comes close. If it manages to deal with MPEG compression (mosquito noise, macroblocking) without resorting to pure spatio-temporal filter like so many current HDTVs do, then it'll be a big step ahead.

If I remember correctly, the sound system on the last (7th) generation of JVC LCDs already rank among the best within its peers. Most virtual surround soundfield technology only serve to widen the soundstage perhaps at the expense of midrange.</description>
