I have this watch and when I surfed with it for the first time in Fiji, I looked at my watch and water seeped in so it stopped working. When I got back, I called Nixon and let them know what happened and they replaced it. I used that one for a year and a half and just today when I went surfing, water seeped in again and it stopped working. This is no doubt a great tide watch but I wish it lasted a little bit longer. I am now looking into getting a more durable watch like the Casio G Shock GLX5600. I hope that last more than a year and a half.
