Rolling Treadmill Speeds You Down the Street

by Paul Strauss

The guys over at dutch design firm OOOMS are best known for their wooden memory sticks, but here’s another interesting contraption that they also are responsible for.

OOOMS Speedy Rollator

Looking like a treadmill on wheels, the Speedy Rollator uses a special gear drive system to multiply your walking efforts and increase your pace.

While you won’t look quite as cool as those hipsters tooling around on their Segways, you might end up getting there just as quickly.

Nice exerciser. Reminds me of the stair cycle. Same concept different gym machine.

Get more use out of treadmills by adding in a treadmill desk like the TrekDesk (http://www.trekdesk.com). I have a Tunturi and it has lasted more than 20 years believe it or not but I never really used it that much until I found out about treadmill desks. Now I get all of my exercise in while I work and never feel bored.

my mom bought a treadmill that is motor driven, i still prefer to jog and run the old fashioned way.:.’

This sets new levels in stupidity. Why bother simply walking when you can proudly display your ignorance?
