mathmos light charms glow when you’ve got a call

If you happen to have your cell phone ringer turned off, and you don’t care for the “vibrate” setting, you might want to check out these nifty things from London’s Mathmos.

These tiny Light Charms clip onto your mobile phone and blink whenever a call is coming in (thanks to those lovely radio frequency emissions.) They’re available in both a mini light bulb version (in white or blue) and a mini lava lamp version (in red or blue) which is only appropriate since Mathmos was the original creator of the lava lamp back in the sixties.
They’re just £6 each (about $12 USD) from Mathmos’ U.K. online store.

i love this idea. sometimes if my phone is on vibrate and it isn’t in my pocket it makes a harsh fart-type noise.
i think they are a good idea but it has already been thought of!
I just got one of these and they look even better than they do in the pictures… the flashing is really cool when the phone goes off too.
