Mathmos Light Charms Glow When You’ve Got a Call

July 13th, 2007 by: Technabob

If you happen to have your cell phone ringer turned off, and you don’t care for the “vibrate” setting, you might want to check out these nifty things from London’s Mathmos.

mathmos phone charm lava

These tiny Light Charms clip onto your mobile phone and blink whenever a call is coming in (thanks to those lovely radio frequency emissions.) They’re available in both a mini light bulb version (in white or blue) and a mini lava lamp version (in red or blue) which is only appropriate since Mathmos was the original creator of the lava lamp back in the sixties.

They’re just £6 each (about $12 USD) from Mathmos’ U.K. online store.
