		<description>I have bought two of these... One two years ago and I was so impressed wikth it that when it came time to by another I didnt even look at other brands. Unless you buy top of the line Sony you won&#039;t find a better picture in my book.</description>

		<description>Earlier there was rumors  of this set having a Faroudja mage remapper.  This is the best chip of its kind, and would make for an awesome looking picture when lower res content is viewed ( which is still predominant).

Anyone has further info on this?</description>

		<description>You usually can&#039;t change the backlights on LCD panels (only on projectors), so I doubt this one is user serviceable. SCEPTRE&#039;s LCD backlights are rated at 50,000 hours though, so that would give you over 15 years of viewing if you watched TV for 8 hours every day. That&#039;s more than enough for most people.</description>
