tetris on your tv

The gaming classic Tetris has been packaged into a standalone gaming device that connects to any television.

Japan’s Epoch company had taken the retro puzzler and put a shiny new coating of gloss on the game interface. I especially like how the controllers actually look like Tetris blocks.

The updated version of the game comes with a variety of modes including a two-player side-by-side mode (thanks to the dual controllers.) There are also a bunch of fun backgrounds and even a co-op play mode (that’s so NOW of them!)
I don’t know why, but all of a sudden, I’m reminded of this scene from Family Guy…
The Tetris TV game retails for ¥4,280 (appx. $36 USD,) but I’m not sure if and when you’ll be able to get one outside of Japan.
