I played through this demo this morning first thing, and all I can say is "wow". The immersion and cinematic experience is amazing. From the moment your plane crashes into the ocean at the beginning of the game, to the first time you see a "Big Daddy" going to town on a victim, you know you're in for something special here.

The environmental design is so creative and terrifying at the same time. There's something about the juxtaposition of this idyllic-world-gone-wrong and it's creepy inhabitants that really puts you on edge.

Never mind the fact that this could be the best looking game of all time, the enemy AI is so freaking smart, that you'll have to constantly adjust your gameplay style. These aren't the armies of dummies you find in Stranglehold (which also looks like a fun game, but nothing like this).

If you're looking for a challenging FPS, this is it. The demo just gives you a taste of the strategic weaponry in the game, but I can see how it'll require much more thought than just your typical "run-and-gun" FPS.

Bioshock is definitely is on my "must own" list now.
