With cooler seasons just around the corner, here’s something to warm the cockles of your heart. It’s a hand knit Space Invaders sweater.

Kansas City crafter n2Imaginations hand makes these custom sweaters from acrylic yarn to keep you nice and toasty on those cold Winter nights.
Just like those crazy knits that your Aunt Mildred wears at Christmas, the Space Invaders sweater is a bit of sensory overload for my eyes. But it is an accurate recreation of the arcade classic, so what can you do? I especially dig the little scoring chart on the sleeve.
So if you’ve just gotta have anything with the Space Invaders on it, you can pick one up on her Etsy shop for $60.

My aunt knit me something along the same lines when I was a kid.

I don’t think I appreciated as much then as I do now.

That’s awesome James. All I got was a crummy iron-on t-shirt.
