Mac-O-Lanterns Light the Way This Halloween

What better way to use a couple of old Macintosh computers?

All it took was a little orange paint for the “pumpkin”, and a JPEG viewer application for the face. This is the best use for old Macs since the original MacQuarium.
Got a great geeky holiday craft idea? Send us a tip!

very creative indeed
How come you didn’t use old IBM computers?
Great idea! Better than the Macquarium. (How many fish can you keep anyway?)
i have a mac like this can you give my instructions on how to install a jpeg viewer to it and make it show a jack-o-lanturn face PLEASE make them detailed.
thanks
Cute, but why not recycle them instead? Save our landfills and recycle precious metals.
I kow it’s a year later and all, but I wanted to point out that they re-using the computers also keeps them out of the landfills. so that’s not really something you need to worry about.
