matrix lcd watch is simple and elegant

I’ve seen all kinds of strange and unusual digital timepieces from Asia, and most of them are so difficult to read that the novelty wears off quickly. So it makes me happy to see an unconventional LCD watch that’s actually quite easy to understand.

The Matrix M6001 watch displays time using a set of LCD bars at the top and the bottom of its display. The tall bars on the top indicate the current hour, while the shorter bars on the bottom indicate five-minute intervals. The zero bar on the bottom left is broken into four segments that indicate individual minutes.

The watch has a shiny stainless body with a stitched leather band in one of several colors. Depending on the hue you select, it works amazingly well as either a men’s or women’s watch.
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find these outside of Korea at this point. But if you happen to know someone who speaks the language, you might be able to get your hands on one from Funshop.kr on sale for KRW 69,000 (appx. $74 USD).

hey i can tell time on this one — cool!
Ya but looks feminine.
If you get the pink one, yeah. But I think the black or leather models would be fine for a dude.
I think it’s a little large for a women’s watch, even in pink.
Hay guys ,,,
Where can i get one of these ,,, there realy cool .
if anyone know if i can get them online ,pls tell me from where.
I haven’t been able to find them anywhere else but the original funshop.kr site mentioned in the article.
