Well, I think that this is really coming to fruition now. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Toshiba is getting ready to pull the plug, in an attempt to stem the bleeding from losses incurred with the production of each and every player made.

I suppose there’s still some hope in the adult industry, but I have my doubts. Besides, the industry is moving more and more to digital distribution instead of disc, so they might not have the impact they had back in the VHS days.

Its about time. I’m sad to see Blu-Ray coming a step closer to being the winner.. but at least its a big step towards a winner finally being chosen. *keeps praying costs will fall*
