The higher levels of tetris had single blocks that would appear out of nowhere. Also, when you clear lines you will create single blocks.

Never seen any single square pieces in any version of tetris I’ve ever played, ranging from the original in the late 80s to cell phone versions now.

Not to say there couldn’t be some weird version that might throw a single block in from time to time, but not original tetris.

When you clear a line you sometimes get single blocks falling… probably what he was going for.

Yeah, it looks like they took a little liberty with the shapes. Then again, I don’t remember any shiny mirrored pieces in the game either.

What’s with the single-square pieces? I’ve never seen those in any version of Tetris I’ve played.
