steampunk computer accessories hit ebay

This certainly isn’t the first time that I’ve seen a steampunk computer design, but it’s a quick way for you to turn your machine into something that H.G. Wells himself would be proud of. Recently sighted over on eBay, here’s a set of custom-modded steampunk accessories for your PC.

The Steamputer was inspired by an old 1920s typewriter, complete with round, old-style keys and some deliciously old-world gears under the hood.

The seller is including what was once a 17-inch Dell LCD monitor, embellished with 19th century charm (gotta love those copper pipes on the sides), a matching wireless mouse, and the aforementioned keyboard.

Starting bid for the auction is a bit high at $500, especially since there’s no computer included. At least the guy who made this stuff will throw in a can of matching green enamel effect paint so you can make your PC look like it belongs.
