Here’s a fun iPhone hack you’ll either really love or really hate. VistaPerfection 2.0 is a complete re-skinning kit for Apple’s wonderphone that lets it masquerade as a Windows Vista machine.

While many of you will ask: why the heck would you want to go and do that? Dunno. Maybe Spec Works (the guy who made it) just wanted to prove it could be done.

The install comes complete with wallpapers, sliders, sound effects and over 90 Vista-themed icons for everything from the computer to the recycle bin, and all of the standard iPhone apps too. There’s even a simulated version of Vista’s Sidebar and familiar Start menu.
If you’re ready and willing to deface your glorious chrome and glass iPhone with Microsoft’s bloatware user interface, head on over to ModMyiFone for the full download and instructions. (Requires a Jailbroken iPhone, SSH access and SummerBoard).

HAHA, awesome…bringing some class to a borderline useless waste of cash. Well, at least compared to…say a blackberry…or treo…or smartphone.

That just about made me ill. But, it is probably pretty close to have Microsoft will have in about ten years. If they are still in the computer business. I think Microsoft will be selling toys (Xbox, etc…) exclusively by then.

You windiots are used to doing useless crap in windows that it makes sense to put a trash can that serves no purpose.
And to the blackberry fanboy, I give your phone less than one year before it goes the way of the palm. I predict starting Q1 2009, RIM will be posting loses quarter after quarter.

Finally, the perfect phone. The iPhone doesn’t eveny have Excel. All it can do is read it. From a business view, the iPhone is just a thought in the road. Install MS Office, video recorder, copy/paste (MAC invention) and etc and you have a good phone/PDA. All the iPhone does is take low quallity pictures and plays some toons. So what.
