I played the Ebay machine at the MGM Grand Vegas - hit the max bonus on my second spin and won $400. Walked away that time , but I can see they could be very addictive.

As a disgruntled Ebay seller I would like to take my fists and smash every one of the damned slot machines. I am not disgruntled because I was caught by Ebay doing anything illegal or immoral. Rather I am disgruntled because if you are a seller on Ebay they can BREAK YOU by suspending your account on a whim. There is no recourse, no method or process of appeal. Lawsuits are difficult as the Ebay staff are always nameless and faceless.

Looks like a reader over on <a href="http://gadgets.boingboing.net/2008/07/07/recreate-the-thrilli.html#comment-228070" rel="nofollow">Boing Boing Gadgets</a> has actually played the thing, and it's (as expected) a huge money pit.
