It does clip onto almost any surface and securely holds iPhones and iTouches. You can watch videos or blogcasts almost anywhere with this gadget. It will hold 3Gs now with a belt clip and they will be packaging a 3G clip with it in the near future.

I received one of these last week and it actually works fantastic with my G3. Really......it appears that ANY phone or video device that has a belt clip would work. I just unclip my iphone from my waist and clip it onto the Soaripod. It also holds and clips just about anywhere. I had it on a bottle of olive oil in my kitchen watching home movies that I had downloaded. I love watching movies and tv shows on it. It sure beats holding my phone for a two hour flight yet I have also clipped it on my babys highchair. I LOVE IT! The best invention EVER!

Soaripod is a bit of an ugly looking device, but considering all the various mobile devices, it would certainly have its uses if it can fit to any gadget.

I called them, they said they are coming out with a 3G clip to be sold separately (Geeze, give them a break, half of the companies are still trying to get their accessories compatible for 3g, and I would probably use it for the iPod Touch anyway which isn't ancient). They also said it will hold any gadget you can think of, you just need to have your own belt clip to attach to the device. So it can hold the 3G, you just need to get your own belt clip for now.
