Let’s take a trip down memory lane… back to, oh, say, 1998. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, but regardless, we all played laser tag with gusto. Now you can play it in your very own home!

Yeah, I know, I’m excited too! Apparently if you have a good deal of time on your hands you can get a $2 toy gun and a laser pointer, work your mojo, then strap a tupperware container filled with wires to your stomach. That’s it- now you’re all set for a battle royale.

This was created by some guy in New Zealand who put up a helpful webpage with an instruction set, parts list, and a bunch more pictures in case you’re interested in busting one of these out for yourself. Or, if you’re lazy like me, you could just forgo all the wiring mumbo-jumbo and run around a dark room with toy guns shouting “pew pew pew!” and leave it at that. Oh wait, that’s what I did last weekend.
