Earlier today, I told you guys about these cool little USB monitors that you could attach to your PC so you could stick your spare palettes, widgets and menus on them. But the problem was that they’re only available in Korea. So I set out on a mission to find something similar which could be purchased right here in the good old U.S. of A. My mission was a success.

These LCD screens from Samsung may look like your typical digital photo frames, but they have a unique feature that lets you use them as a secondary PC monitor, without need for a special video card.
The 8-Inch Samsung SPF-85H LCD (appx $142 USD) and 10-inch Samsung SPF-105P LCD
(appx. $204 USD) both offer something called UbiSync PC, which lets you display computer imagery on them via a USB connection. The 8-inch version offers an 800×600 resolution, while the 10-inch has a crisp 1024×600 screen. Both models also 1GB of internal image storage and a memory card slot if you want to use them as a digital photo frame.
Now I better get mine ordered before all you guys buy up all the inventory!

I also came across the Samsung SPF-85V
which is an 8-inch model with a bit less memory, but built-in Wi-Fi for image transfers.
Great find. One of these would be perfect for getting those tool boxes in Photoshop out of the way so I can work in full-screen without anything getting in the way.
I agree with technabob … Samsung SPF-85V might be better
This is such a cool idea! And I love how it can double as a digital pic frame!
Question: Do these behave like real additional displays, or can they just mirror the primary screen?
These can act like Extended display (real additional secondary display) , with just an USB cable attached to the host PC/ laptop,
Wonderful device.
Yep. That was the whole point. A second display - shweet.
is there a touchscreen like on the MIMO ?
Bye
(I’m french, sorry for my english ..)
Nope. I’m hoping the MIMO makes its way West one of these days.
