welder k24: a manly watch for manly men

Being such a tech geek, I have a tendency to gravitate towards digital watches. But every once in a while I’ll stumble onto an analog that catches my eye.

Designed by Italo Fontana, the Welder K24 is about as macho looking a watch as you’ll find. This chunky timepiece won’t win any awards for subtlety. This is no wimpy little wristwatch. No sirree, Bob!

The K24 comes in a variety of hefty designs including an IP black finish with red, green or luminescent white numerals, as well as versions in stainless steel or 24K gold-plate.

All models are water-resistant to at least 100m, and feature a heavy-duty crown protector to keep you from damaging the mechanism.

You can find the entire collection of Welder K24 watches over on WatchUSeek, with prices ranging from $530 to $990 USD.
Me? I’m waiting to get my hands on the brand new K29 (pictured below)… Yowza.

This is actually a nice looking watch. Techy without being overly geeky
cool. But if 0 or 12 and 6 are added to the panel, it’ll be cooler.
Too big. Otherwise I wouldn’t mind having one!
