Fire Extinguisher Speakers Are Hot, Hot, Hot

These candy apple red cylinders started out life innocently enough as a couple of fire extinguishers. But after they ran out of foam, they got a second life as a pair of speakers.
While it may seem like a simple idea, Russian modder Strannik put a tremendous amount of effort into the construction of these tower speakers, which required precision cutting, drilling and welding to pull off such a seamless look.

this is pretty rad, but i feel like the common make with some basic skills would replicate this from pvc and put the nozzle top on it…then you could have some sizing options as well
Nice design work. Like to hear what they sound like as the “cabinets” would effect the sound significantly, no?
What a sound idea,now we know what to do with our left over fire extinguishers. lol
