I assume they are based in HK as the website is made there, look under the privacy tab.

The day after posting my review the UK seller phoned and offered me a prompt refund - he said he has to ask permission from the manufacturer, which he stated was done via email (v strange).

Until they add flex to the jack I wouldn't touch these mate.

In addition, the highs are too harsh which makes listening unpleasant after an hour of continuous music, the soundstage is tiny, and far too much sound leaks - passers by on the street can hear what you are listening to! The only plus points on the Drums is the bass.

You are better off getting a set of Senn IE6's or Monster Turbines if you want the bass response with higher quality sound at a similar price. Or for iPhone/Blackberry use, I would suggest either Nu-Force NE-7M's or saving for a set of Ultimate Ears triple.fi 10 VI's.

******DO NOT PURCHASE A SET OF ATOMIC FLOYD'S*****

I purchased a set of earphones from the Atomic Floyd website in January.

Within 6 weeks the sound cut in and out from both speakers and I emailed Atomic Floyd requesting a refund.

The UK dispatcher initially replied stating that they normally offer replacements but for a refund he would have to check with the founder and come back to me.

After 3 weeks of me chasing for an update by email, I have heard no response.

This company are a joke and once they have your money, you are left with a set of earphones that will almost definitely break (due to the 'cord to straight jack' design).

Although the website suggests that they are a UK company (prices advertised in Sterling), they appear to be Hong Kong based and there is no 'real' customer support.

What a waste of £85
