<description>Caffeine consumption can be a serious health problem, particularly today when so many products have the stimulant as an ingredient. Beverage, food and pharmaceutical products have higher and higher amounts of caffeine. Because of this most people have no idea how much caffeine they actually consume daily and can have caffeine intoxication. For example, Starbucks coffee has 50 percent more caffeine that home-brew coffee. Manufacturers are even putting caffeine in products like chewing gum and candy bars.
