we love katamari paintings

The Katamari Damacy games are beautiful, addictive… and kind of a pain in the butt. You’ve got to get all this stuff, and the King of All Cosmos is so specific, and then there are all the cousins. Who’s got to round them up? You, of course. You have to do everything around the Cosmos. Well, here’s one way to keep those pesky cousins together: hang ‘em on the wall.

Actually, I’m not sure what the motivation was behind the Katamari Cousins Project, but in my imagination, it’s frustration–but the good kind. The kind that results in forty paintings, one cousin per painting. And, of course, a classic central scene to anchor the project. No cows, though.

Of course, I can’t help but wonder what the forty-one paintings might look like if they were rolled into a giant canvas Katamari….

Somehow I missed the “pain in the butt” part about Katamari. Maybe you’re just not very good at it?
Or maybe one of us isn’t very good at humor… but I can’t figure out which one!
Touché.
It’s so frustrating when you’re frantically trying to build up your Katamari in the last few seconds, you’re so damn close to the target… And then it gets stuck on something.
Happens a lot, and it is indeed a pain in the butt, especially on some of the bigger levels.
It is a delicious agony!
hey can you send me pics of all of the cousins?
