I love it. (Mac user.) The tabs on the top don't waste space like Chrome's do. I'm all for maximizing the real estate that the window content can use and minimizing the interface. (Though, I am also using MegaZoom, which minimizes even more of the interface.)

I'll be using this (in Webkit nightly form) from now on.

I believe this layout will become very popular once touch-screen monitors, which emulate the touch-screen iphone, become widespread and popular. Until then the onscreen movement may be a tad difficult to calibrate. Nevertheless it still impresses.

Hey Aleksey. You're right, Opera did start the tabs-on-top trend; Google just cleaned the interface up. Thanks for pointing it out!

I think you forgot that Opera was the one who invented tabs at the top (if you don't count the menu); they've had it for years and everybody just ignored it even though it was a good setup until Google figured out it was a good idea and implemented it in Chrome. I guess the rest are starting to think if it's good for Google it's good for me.

Actually therer's a good collection of add-ons to Safari too. That's why I have this flash box just below your blog post blocked - there IS flashblock for Safari.
But I agree - there are a lot more add-ons for Friefox than for Safari.
And another thing - you CAN manually add pages to Top Sites. Just drag site icon (from site url field) to the top sites window. (instructions: http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20090224100956157 )
You also missed some important features for safari 4 like the neat website debugging and developing tools.
