Zack Snyder’s take on Watchmen may have suffered mixed reviews from fans and newbies alike at the box office, but Alan Moore’s seminal characters are certainly scoring big with one subset of the population: crafty types are embracing Watchmen’s heroes anew… and in interesting ways. If you thought you’d never see a Dr. Manhattan sock monkey, well, you were wrong.

Dr. Monkhattan, as this version happens to be named, is from the wearing-black-man-panties stage of the superman’s development, so there’s no issue of bright blue sock monkey genitals to be addressed.
