If you’re looking for a mid-priced digital camera, you should check out Amazon’s Gold Box for today, because they’re cutting $500 bucks or a whopping 56% off the list price of the Sigma DP1, selling the 14 megapixel camera for only $399 (USD). Amazon’s gone insane, and you should capitalize before they come to their senses.

The DP1 is a compact digital camera that features a 14-megapixel optical sensor powered by Foveon CMOS technology, a pop-up flash and a 2.5-in LCD viewing screen. Go to Sigma’s DP1 website or Digital Photography Review’s article on the DP1 and see if it’s the right camera for you. But be quick about it if you want to save $500 – these surely won’t last long.
