bandai mugen beer can simulator: pop open a cold un-refreshing un-brew

Ahh, there’s nothing more refreshing than popping open an ice cold brewski on a hot Summer day. Of course, if you happen to not have a cold brewski on you, you could always go for the next best worst thing – an electronic beer can simulator.

Brought to you by the fine weird minds of Bandai Japan, the Mugen Beer Can simulator hangs on your key ring, and plays an electronic sample of the sound of opening a can of the cold frosty stuff when you flip its pop top.

At least you won’t be spilling beer all over yourself when you have too many of these.

Single Mugen cans of are available for pre-order over at Gizmine for$17.99 (USD) each, but if you want to share some with your friends, you can grab a six-pack of can simulators (including a couple of fizzy non-alcoholic soda cans) over at eTraders Place for $55. Expect the Mugen beer can simulator to start shipping late this June, just in time for those backyard summer barbeques.
