Tec Lingo Wireless Mouse: for Computer Savvy Babies, Gnomes

by Lambert Varias

This week’s words of wisdom come from five English women with somewhat talented songwriters: Too much of something is bad enough (bad eno~ugh). Alas, such is the case with the Lingo, a wireless mouse from Japanese company TEC. The Lingo is a mouse that is so small its user will take care not to sneeze or perhaps even exhale for fear that the mouse would fly away.

Currently Japan-only, the Lingo measures a measly 27.5 x 60 x 19 mm and weighs only 0.8 oz. It runs for up to 15 hours before vanishing needing to be charged and has an operating range of about 33 feet, so that when the inevitable happens and you lose the thing, as long as its within 33 feet of the receiver at least you’ll know that it’s still there. Almost in spirit.
