Knit and crochet dolls are cute simply by definition, so you really don’t have to go the extra mile to summon a chorus of “awww.” If you do, however–and Alison Oddy sure did–the effect can be dramatic. But maybe that’s just because we’re talking about meerkats here.

And these aren’t just regular knitted meerkats, but Star Trek meerkats, circa the original series. But if you prefer your meerkats to bow to Captain Picard, Oddy can hook you up with a Next Generation set.
